Description
We decided to have a new table top made of beautiful finger-jointed oak for our existing coffee table. Lacquered it myself and very happy with the result.
Assembling an oak top on the coffee table
Our coffee table had a glass top that we were very tired of. So after some searching at TOSIZE.at, we ordered a 74.2 cm oak top with beveled edge. Such a large oak size is not available everywhere. But through this supplier, we received very nice finger jointed material. To show off the wood structure well, but protect the tabletop, I applied 4 coats of glitsa matt parquet lacquer. We are very happy with the end result!
